You will learn through laughter. Which girl are you in Girls Trip? Shout out to four lifelong friends—Regina Hall (Ryan - The Boss), Queen Latifah (Sasha - The Gossip), Jada Pinkett Smith (Lisa - The Mom) and Tiffany Haddish (Dina - The Wild One)  who travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival, sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, and there's enough dancing, drinking, brawling and romancing to make the Big Easy blush. James Lopez, head of motion pictures for Will Packer Productions, and Preston Holmes, executive produce. Girls Trip takes you on a journey of truth, where only your girlfriends have permission to keep it 100.

Girlfriends come and go in your life, but the right ones stay. This movie has many relatable girl squad goals where they, as women, embrace who they are, their sex appeal, and rediscover their wild sides after a 5-year friendship hiatus. This squad rekindles their bond of sisterhood. Buckle up. Everyone needs a #GirlsTrip like this one.

This new comedy by black creator and producer, Will Packer, injects some deep emotion and memories that will have you swooning and hugging your girls by the end of this film. The all star-studded, black, female cast of wonderful melanin play characters we recognize all too well in our own personal lives. The film’s characters are all reminiscent of women who real talk with each other with no filters.

The use of black pop culture is represented using throwbacks to the 90s: old school R&B classics, musical artist appearances, and dance moves that will have you singing out loud and doing the running man in your seat. My Lorenz Tate man crush was totally resurrected. This black girl magic comedy will have you misty-eyed and laughing hysterically non-stop from beginning to end.

Friendship is a gift that keeps on giving. You will be glad you came. Girls Trip is a reminder that girlfriends only give each other permission to be candid and open about love, sex, and relationships with each other. This movie is a perfect excuse for good girlfriend time. The best way to watch Girls Trip is with your besties sitting right beside you.

Sisterhoods are not cliché, they are real. Girls Trip will be released by Universal Pictures in theaters July 21. Tickets on sale now!
